Spread awareness of the Corolla 2020 ad campaign and get people to interact with the Toyota brand in a fun way.
Idea:
Create a landing page based on the 2020 Toyota ad campaing, where users could generate funny memes with the characters from the ad that could then be shared through social media to help hype up the new model.

It was important to make an instant connection to the ad campaign, for this reason the title of the page would maintain the campaign font and be surrounded by the birds from the ad, followed by a brief explanation of the mechanics of the landing page and an image of the new corolla.
A downward arrow was placed right above the fold to incentivize users to go directly to the meme generator. We made sure that the generator would fit inside the desktop viewport, which is why the image selection was kept on the left and the message field was kept on the right with a live preview below it. On mobile the meme generator would stack the image selection above the message field. When a user selected an image it would automatically scroll to the message field and preview.
Users would have to fill out their email in order to have their meme approved and receive a unique link to their meme, which they could then share on any social media platform. All the approved memes would also be accessible through a gallery page.
